Coach Lou Santos Honored
In February, Mr. Lou Santos, Coach of Molloy’s JV Softball team, was honored during the 8th Annual Raymond F. Church Service to Youth Baseball Awards Dinner. Hosted by the Greater New York Sandlot Athletic Alliance, this dinner recognizes distinguished individuals who have displayed notable devotion and passion for their work with youth teams. For over 70 years, the GNYSAA has served players at all levels of competitive play, and it remains their goal to serve equally both the star athlete and the ordinary player in exposing each to rich experiences that the great game of baseball has to offer. LDP Welcomes Amy Delmore the new 16u Select Head Coach for 2013

LDP is proud to announce Amy Delmore as the new 16u Select Head Coach for the 2013 Season.
Amy Delmore -Bio
Queens College assistant vice president of athletics, China Jude, announced the hiring of Amy Delmore, a former National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II All-American, as the Knights' head softball coach in July, 2012.
Delmore takes over a QC squad that did not have any seniors, and advanced to the 2012 East Coast Conference Championships -- its first appearance in the conference tournament in three seasons.
Delmore spent the last three seasons as head softball coach at Manhasset High School in Long Island, after a highly successful three-year stint as assistant softball coach at her alma mater -- Adelphi University.
